Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment they really do mean so much to me! Because not all bloggers have their email enabled so I can reply directly through email I will try to reply here in the comments. If I don't please forgive me, life must have been hectic that day! :)) Huzzah!!
We missed you SOOO much...don't do that again!!! This horse is beautifully painted, Crystal! I love all those beautiful purples and splashes of reds...Good luck with the house and your commission pieces..!!!
ReplyDeleteHey, there you are. Lovely one Crystal. Moving can be quite the chore so I hope it gets easier. I like to think of it as a time of renewal because it's usually when you discard the unnecessary and start fresh. Blessings to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteOver the top busy! Hoping the whole selling/house hunting thing goes well. Don't know how you do all that you do, but you have certainly created a beauty with this piece, no surprise. And you're co-hosting AHA show, great show by the way!
ReplyDeleteHi There Friend! Love your tumbles and if you finished the commissioned paintings, please do share with us here! I loved the sneak peak of the big oil portrait -- how's that going? Life always keeps us on our toes at one time or another, but we'd always be here for you...
ReplyDeleteTalking about selling your house -- are you guys moving to another city, or just want to move to a different place? Selling a house can be stressful, you take care there! And good luck with the sales!
You're moving? ooooh exciting!
ReplyDeleteYou read Neil Gaiman? He's awesome! I just started reading Sandman a while ago!
ReplyDeleteI am a firm believer in stretching, bending and breaking rules - they are made for that!!!
ReplyDeleteYour horse [and the title] are perfect! The colors are so vivid and rich.
I like Neil Gaiman, too. Have you read "American Gods"?
Actually I'm relieved that you haven't posted for a while because I hate not being able to keep up - and so many of the people I'm following are doing the 30 in 30 challenge that I can't possibly keep up with them all! I'm having a hard time fitting any art in at all at the moment because Sherlock has had an operation on his leg and has to be rested for 6 weeks - that means nothing but lead walks just to the garden for the toilet. Poor thing is so sad that I feel too guilty leaving him without company :0( So, my studio time has taken a mighty bashing this last few weeks and I'm thinking it's going to be a good couple of months or more before life can get back to some kind of normality. Meanwhile, instead of being able to paint myself, I have your wonderful paintings to look at instead. And this horse is utterly beautiful! And I particularly love the colours against the black background. Just exquisite! Oh, and I'll be listening to your AHA show tomorrow. Can't wait! :0)
