Oil portrait work in progress

 16 x 16 inch oil portrait commission
In progress

Still working on commissions, but I thought I'd show a pic of this one in progress. Nearly done (well. . . the hardest part is anyways).

And here's a little Last Unicorn doodle I did while drawing with my son the other day. :)

Hope you all are doing well!!

We've sold our house and will hopefully be all settled in to our new place by the first part of November. Then life can get back to normal, lol. It's been a crazy last few months!

  1. OMG Crystal! Ok. Before I even start to comment on the painting I have to say that you are an unbelievably hard-to-find kindred spirit of mine. As the Harpy said, "...We are sisters, you and I..."
The painting is looking great so far - not at all surprising that you start with the eyes knowing your work - seems many others start there, too - David Gray and Katie O'Hagan to name a couple.
Can't wait to see more, and I'll be humming America tunes and dreaming of unicorns while I'm painting...
    ♥!

  2. The eyes are exquisite, Crystal, and I know the rest will be, too!
I thought you had moved already. So I wish you all the best for an easy move and settling in.
