ReplyDeleteThat one is very romantic, well done.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Crystal.....love the display easel too.
ReplyDeleteI agree Crystal -- great unity throughout with the use of that limited palette. I love the spaces in between the couple, and I also LOVE that beautifully mingled wash in the background. Great composition with a superb and striking rendering. You got game, girl! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece, really captures the depth of feeling, not to mention that sunset. Rich and wonderful
ReplyDeleteDelicious!
ReplyDeleteMy all time favorite painting of yours to date!!!! This is incredible. The colors, the composition, the feeling - It is awesome!!! And the easel is a great way to display. I thinK I may steal that idea from you.
ReplyDeleteI LIKE THEM! I love the paintings and how you pushed the colors. A painting for lovers for sure.
ReplyDeleteI am completely touched by this one. The sense of love, care and warmth just radiates from the paper. This is something one can never get from painting flowers -- I am now completely inspired to try to paint people, something I've never felt inclined before. Now I understand why people love paintings of people. I have to say this is one of the rare occasions that I am not only stunned by the technical excellence of the artist, but also but the subject itself and the way you conveyed it -- it's a transformational experience.
ReplyDeleteFor the four colors -- Are they Alizarin, Ultramarine, Gamboge and Burnt Sienna? Just guessing ;-)
Amazing Crustal!! I've been looking at every little detail of the painting, it's just perfect.
ReplyDeleteWarm regards.
Oh wow! This is awesome! I love how you put them at the side, like they are off in their own little world together, melting into the sunset... You are so creative and expressive with your art!
ReplyDeleteThis truly is beautifully painted, Crystal.
ReplyDeleteSOOO romantic, Crystal...You should make prints of this one!!! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Crystal. Nothing wrong with sap and don't let anyone try to tell you so. This is an absolutely beautiful piece!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is stunning! And I'm right with you on the sap thing. I am a fellow sap myself!
ReplyDeleteWhat a touching subject :0)
Which colours did you use?
I also love the light glimpsing through their bodies and dancing across her gorgeous curls too :0)
This is awesome. I love the harmony. You have a natural gift of conveying feeling in your paintings! Keep it up :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow.. That soft background gives a feeling of solitude. IT just adds so well to the over all feel..
