I love my three sons. Love them dearly. I never wished for a daughter, but took whatever God gave me with a grateful heart.
But that doesn't mean that I am immune to the power of pink, and princesses, and sugar and spice. :)

I love her expression, Crystal.! She's beautiful. As always, your portraits are amazing!! I had two daughters and wanted a Son!! Of course, I was also happy with whatever God gave me...so I patiently waited to have a Grandson!! Love my little man!!
ReplyDeleteCrystal, beautiful expression captured here. Paint your bedroom pink. I have 3 boys, too. In fact, right now my husband and 3 boys are at a basketball game. I have fun and very special bonding moments with each of them. However, I could never have too much pink since I have never had to buy one pink tutu, babydoll etc.
ReplyDeleteI think you have truly captured the delicate feeling of girls of that age -- as if a blow of light wind will simply take them away. It makes my heart tender. I cannot have children but through the beautiful art you share, I can fully appreciate the beauty and joy they bring to this world.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant job, look at the sweep of lashes and the wonderful tones of her skin and hair. Just beautiful
ReplyDeleteThat is such a poignant touching portrait! And your words are heartfelt and touching as well. I bet one of your boys will have a daughter, though, and you will buy ribbons and dolls and spend lots of special girl time with one another! I can see it all now!
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome..
ReplyDeleteShe is damn cute..
Beautiful painting! The tendrness and delicacy of her personality is so wonderfully captured! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd what a beautiful little girl she is! I don't know how you do it, but yet again, you have painted a soul on to a canvas! :0)
ReplyDeleteTriste pero bonita a la vez, transmite mucho y has bordado la expresion de la niña.
ReplyDeleteUn saludo.
