Believe - SOLD

'Believe'  sold
5 x 7 inches watercolor

“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”  Roald Dahl

I was at the park the other day and saw this lovely little fairy dashing through the trees, almost too quickly for me to see. But not quite quick enough. :) Now here she is immortalized for all time as evidence that fairies exist.

Mood: content
Listening to: The Raven Boys (audio book)
Reading: Apollyon by Jennifer Armentrout
Snacking on: chocolate animal crackers (yes they have sugar, but not that much, or so I tell myself ;)
Watching: Oblivion (last weekend while on a hot date with my husband)

  2. So sweet - I love it! The bits of paper showing through really give that fairy dust effect - and the light overall is superb! (as usual) ♥

  4. This is so sweet, magical and oh so amazing! I love how the colors are put together and how expressive it is. It reminds me of tinkerbell the pixie dust fairy. Good job!

  6. Lovely! It would have been a great sight. Do you know the "Yes Virginia, There Is A Santa Claus" writing? Your post reminded me of that. Thanks. Also, woo-hoo to the hot date with your husband! : )

  9. Oh wow, I love this painting and the wonderful story it conveys. And the quote is great! I've never heard that quote, but I really like Roald Dahl books. Your work has such a unique, beautiful style that is so completely your own, yet each piece is distinct and special. Congrats on another gorgeous painting!
