Pugsly
prismacolor on sketch paper
A little happy faced pug for Sketchbook Saturday. Doesn't he look positively blissful? I think he must be looking at the world's most giant hot dog. :)
Have a great weekend everyone!
Huzzah!!
P.S. I had a few questions about aquabord from the previous post which I tried to answer in the comments, but I'll do a more detailed post about what I've learned from it next week. Until then! May your paintbrushes obey your every whim!
I adore him and your sketch Crystal!
ReplyDeleteHello Crystal:)He is so cute. Where can I find that giant hot dog? Great sketch! Have a nice weekend too!
ReplyDeleteHe is sweet, Crystal....it looks like he is erasing the line with that tongue. I once had a screensaver that was a pug standing on a desk licking the inside of my computer screen supposedly to "clean" it...hmmm. It was the cutest. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteJe ne sais si c'est un hot-dog dont a envie Pugsly! ... Mais il me semble être très gourmand! N'aimerait-il pas aussi la crème glacée ?...
ReplyDeleteAlors nous serions deux!
Un adorable croquis, bravo !
Gros bisous
Have liked it on Facebook, and I really appreciate a good sketch, have never had patience to do it myself. Love how graphic it looks with the dark parts of the dog playing against the lighter ones.
ReplyDeleteWonderful sketch, Crystal!!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing sketchbooks...they inspire me so. Love this little one!
ReplyDeleteoh he's a lovely boy.. I have a weakness for dogs.. all shapes and sizes - this one is fab! xx
ReplyDeletePugsley! Great name, great sketch, great dog. Nice one, Crystal. Aren't dogs just the most fantastic animals?
ReplyDeleteI'm falling behind with comments, sorry if I've missed you, ... My granddaughter and I are doing an English degree and have an assignment running behind time aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggggggggghhhh!!
what a great sketch, it says it all :-)
ReplyDeletepugsley is perfect!!! wonderful sketch!
ReplyDeleteI love your description of his expression! Spot on! He is adorable! Are you going to paint him?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, would you like me to send you my water-soluble oils? I won't use them, so you are very welcome to them. At least that way you can try before you buy! Email me if you want me to send them to you. I'd be interested to see what you thought of them. I find them sticky and chalky unlike normal oils which are soft and buttery. But you might love them :0)
he is great! I know a pug called Pugsley, he is a very greedy, little wriggler! You've captured the 'I'VE spotted some food!' face perfectly
