Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment they really do mean so much to me! Because not all bloggers have their email enabled so I can reply directly through email I will try to reply here in the comments. If I don't please forgive me, life must have been hectic that day! :)) Huzzah!!
Before anything I must say this first -- I love your new hair color! Do I have your permission to paint using this photo as a reference? If it does not turn out as beautiful as the model I promise I am not going to post it anywhere --
ReplyDeleteI am thinking about doing a portrait for the DPW challenge of doing something new, and I love this photo of you -- witty expression, glowing hair.
Not that I have anything against beautiful blonde hair. But it is fun to try out different colors from time to time! I envy you for this -- I have black hair which means whatever color I dye it, it just pretty much turns into a dirty shade. Black hair is stubborn in that way :-(
I love the texture of fur you did in this painting -- in fact you did not paint "fur", only soft diffused color patches. But they speak of the soft fluffiness so evidently! Of course the big innocent eyes are killers. Is this a colored pencil one? I was studying the texture a bit and wasn't sure...
The kitten is just marvelous! The eyes, the fur and the whiskers, everything is perfect!
ReplyDeleteVery nice hair color, really brings out your blue eyes! :)
That is a gorgeous little piece of art!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you do it...amazing, especially for something that small!
ReplyDeleteWell I love the hair! SO brave of you! I have always fancied trying a darker colour but just never had the courage in case I can't change it back.
ReplyDeleteThe cat is just GORGEOUS!! I can't believe how something so small can be so detailed! It's amazing! And I hope you do more small ones like this of lots of subjects. I'd quite like to buy one :0)
Your hair looks great! Beautiful painiting!
ReplyDeleteA good thing to use coloured pens for this one. You can actually see the fur on the kitten. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteQue gato más bonito, me encantan los ojos!
ReplyDeleteUn saludo.

Your wild kitten is fabulous, as always. Those eyes ...!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I truly love your hair color. What a rich chestnut! :)
Hi Crystal! I really, REALLY want to buy this piece, but when I went to buy it the shipping price says it's $25 not $5 as listed, making the entire price $50, not $30. If you could put this piece on hold for me, until the shipping price can be fixed, I would really love to purchase it. It's a gorgeous painting and I absolutely love it!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little cat! I like the golden glow of the fur.
